My family must just be born to become racers at some point in their lives. One uncle had once competed in Le Mans for Porsche, another raced motocross for Marlboro, and my dad has always been karting and chasing fast cars. Now my brother and I are following in their footsteps, feeling that same adrenaline and love for speed.
For me, it was never just about the driving, it was about the thrill of being on the track, the smell of the race fuel, and the shared excitement with my family. The car rides home after a kart race would be full of encouragement and excitement on what to work on next and the crazy incidents during those fast laps. That energy drew me in very easily, and soon I realized there was another way to connect with it: photography. Capturing the perfect small details of a car, the blur of oncoming tires, or a candid moment on grid became my way of telling the story of those that thrive in the racing life while freezing those memories and moments of passion, determination and speed.
